  • "Launch" Add-on menu entry doesn't appear

    "Launch" Add-on menu opens Marketplace instead of opening the sidebar

    Error shows up with red text "showSidebar" has experienced an error

    "drive.google.com refused to connect"



  • If you are experiencing one of the issues above:

    Try reloading the browser tab with the sheets app and waiting 10-15 seconds for the load to complete.

    This issue may happen when you are logged in simultaneously to multiple Google accounts at once, this is something Google is working to fix. If this is the case, try logging out of all Google accounts but the one you are using with the addon.

    Alternatively try either using incognito mode or use a separate Google Chrome profile or Firefox with "containers" or use a different browser (Chromium, Firefox, Opera, Safari).

    Potential solution would be:

    1. Logout from all Google accounts
    2. Login first with the Google account you are planning to use with spreadsheets and addon
    3. Launch the app and confirm that it's working with your account
    4. Login to other accounts if required
